Last Chapter!

I can't believe that the 4th Quarter will soon come to an end. I was really influenced by the lessons that I acquired this quarter. In particular in the area of information and communication technologies, where we learned about the types of networks such as LAN, MAN, WAN, and so on, the activities and lessons we received were engaging and fun. But what activity have I really enjoyed, do you know? Creating a blog, of course, because I've been able to share my thoughts on different topics that Mrs. Vera Cruz and Sir Mark Angelo Riambon has given us.  Time management is one of the most important challenges I've faced this quarter. I've been struggling to keep an orderly schedule on the assignments given by our teachers, possibly because of my overconfidence that I can get through them in a hurry, especially when school starts at 2 p.m. This attitude made it difficult to focus on one thing at a time, and I was constantly thinking of what needed to be done next.  In the me

Padayon, Future MedTech!

Image
In a decade from now, I envision myself as a successful and accomplished individual who has achieved their goals and fulfilled their dreams. I'm seeing myself working in a career I'm passionate about, which is to be a medical technologist, making a positive impact on society, and contributing to the improvement of the world. I'm hoping to make a difference in other people's lives through my chosen profession.  Besides my professional success, I consider myself a well-rounded person who has grown both personally and spiritually. I hope to have traveled to new places, experienced new cultures, and learned from diverse perspectives. I'm thinking of myself as someone who's always looking for knowledge and growth, always striving to be the best version of myself.  I also see myself surrounded by my loved ones, my friends, and my family, who support and inspire me. I'm hoping to build strong relationships with the people closest to me, and provide them with love a

Change, It Starts With Me: Transforming the World, One Step at a Time

Image
Change, It Starts With Us It's a noble idea to change the world, and it's a desire we all share. We're all capable of making a difference, but where and how are we going to start? As the journey to transform the world begins with a person's transformation, this answer lies in us. Analyzing our lives and identifying areas where we can make a difference will be the first step to changing the world. This introspection allows us to look at our individual strengths, passions and issues that have the greatest impact on us. We can find meaningful ways to contribute to the greater good, whether it's through volunteering, advocating, or simply leading by example, by focusing on these personal characteristics. Moreover, the act of changing the world is not limited to grand, sweeping gestures. It can be found in the small, everyday choices we make that ripple outward and inspire others. We can build a culture of compassion, empathy and social responsibility when we pay atten

Commemorating the Araw ng Kagitingan: Honoring the heroism of Filipino soldiers in World War II.

Image
The Araw ng Kagitingan, or the Day of Valor, is a significant commemoration in the Philippines, marking the heroic resistance of Filipino soldiers during World War II. This day, celebrated on April 9th, serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices and bravery displayed by the Filipino people in the face of adversity. It is important to understand why we continue to celebrate this day and the profound impact it has had on our nation's history, as we reflect on this historic occasion. The Philippines was caught in the crossfire between the Imperial Japanese Army and the Allied forces in the early stages of World War II. One of the most controversial war crimes of the war, the Bataan Death March, began on April 9, 1942, when the American and Filipino soldiers stationed on the Bataan Peninsula were forced to surrender to the overwhelming Japanese forces. The Filipino fighters demonstrated their unwavering spirit and determination to defend their homeland by remaining steadfast in

3/4??

The lessons learned from HTML and the hands on nature of Community Based Research are worth considering as the third quarter draws to an end. It's been an adventure of learning and discovery this quarter, from understanding the complexities of tables, unordered lists, and ordered lists in HTML through hands on experience in web design.  Maintaining my productivity and effectively managing time have been a challenge for me. Sometimes I'd find it hard to concentrate, or finish a task on time, which was quite irritating. A number of tasks, quizzes, assessments, assignments and thematic projects that need to be completed before the end of the quarter have been particularly demanding in this third quarter and thematic projects that we need to finish before the end of the quarter, and it truly drains us to think about that.  Despite all of these obstacles, I experienced plenty of fun activities and enjoyed doing tasks with my friends. I and my friends were sharing a great deal of l

CBR: Personal Experiences!

On February 22, 2024, when Mrs. Vera Cruz first introduced our Community based research. When I was in 9th grade, I began to do research. It's been over two years now. But I haven't done a Community based research in those years. Although it's not that formal study, I'm still very happy and grateful to have the opportunity to see how research is conducted with the community I live in. When our Teacher, Mrs. Vera Cruz divided as into many groups and in our group we are 5 in total and our teacher assigned the leaders in each groups, Our teacher gave us assigned research to do, and our topic focuses on  “ How Modernization Affects the Economic Advancement of Vigan’s Cultural Heritage ”  and with that our leader designated the parts where we will be doing and mine was the Conclusion and Recommendation. In my part it was a bit hard because I had a hard time to do my task that was assigned to me by my leader, Kiella,  because I have so much work to do at our church, but then

122nd High School Day!!  On the occasion of our 122nd Foundation Day, March 9th was a day full of joy and excitement at Ilocos Sur National High School "ISNHS". In our school's history, it was a time for students, teachers and alumni to come together in celebration of this special moment. PARADE A joyous foot parade is the first activity of the High School Day. There is an award for the most discipline section per grade level which will be receiving a cash prize that makes it more exciting. We've won the most discipline section in all grade levels in Grade 10, and this has made us Marconians happy. It warms my heart to think that all the preparation we've had, even the whistles that was prepared by our president and other officers was used by my classmates to serve as signals for us to stay discipline, is worth it. FIELD DEMONSTRATION After the Parade, we students we're getting ready for the next event of the day, which is a field demonstration. All of us stud

This month offers a chance to consider both the obstacles currently facing gender equality and the progress that has been made in that direction. It's a chance to pay tribute to the courageous women who have opened doors for succeeding generations and to motivate the upcoming female leadership generation. Though their contributions have sometimes been disregarded or underestimated, women have historically played an important part in forming communities and cultures all throughout the world. During Women's Month, there is a chance to draw attention to the accomplishments of women and to increase understanding of the problems that they face. It's an occasion to recognize the work that remains and to rejoice in the advancements made in the field of gender equality. We can encourage girls and women in

Students are empowered by E STUDYA NTREPRENEUR to transform their ideas into profitable businesses. PHOTOBOOTH AND FREEDOM WALL We, the TLE Club, built this booth where you can all put down your "sama ng loob," "tampo," "manifestings," "confession to your crushes or gf/bf"s," and "someone you adore so much." You may even confess to them by writing it down on a sticky note and pasting it here. My own experience tells me that this works well since, as a person with several issues and no one to turn to for support, this piece of writing helps t
